RELIGION
The cultural centre is home to four synagogues, serving the cross-section of the Manchester Jewish Community. One of the synagogues, Crumpsall Hebrew Congregation, was formed in 1958, whilst Beis Yisroel is a relative newcomer, yet with an ever growing membership of over 100. The Manchester Beth Din has been based at the centre for several decades, and provides a range of religious services to the wider community.
EDUCATION
With three educational institutions, the Cultural Centre is an educational hub. T'mimei Lev is a school for children with physical and mental disabilities. It also has a separate nursery, Torah Tots, for younger children. Both provide those with special needs the tools they require in order to integrate as much as possible into mainstream society. There is also another school housed in the centre...
RECREATION
Our swimming pool has been an invaluable asset to the community for decades. Generations of children have learned how to swim at the Cultural Centre Pool, and the old and young alike benefit from discounted swimming sessions throughout the year. The Jacob Shine Library, contains thousands of books, for all ages and genres. There is also a fully qualified physiotherapist practicing at the centre.
